We partake in the Trellis Bay full moon party. Trellis Bay is right next to the airport at Beef Island, Tortola BVI. The party was out of control. Highly recommended!

As the trade-winds settle in in the Caribbean, extra strong versions called "Christmas Trades" herald the arrival of the traditional east to west subtropical weather patterns. We got hit hard during this phase, and while it was fun, it was also hard-core.

Just a short video of our crossing from Jost Van Dyke to Cane Garden Bay, Tortola. It's a line-of-sight reach across, but the winds were howling!

We head to St. Thomas, USVI, get a bit tipsy on the beach the night we arrive, head over to Tortola, BVI the next day, and pick up our Jeanneau 469 (bareboat) for 10 days of epic sailing in the Caribbean.
