Sailing on the first day of 2023 on Lake Travis, Austin, TX with my Catalina 22. It was 71 Farenheit (21 Celsius), about 10 knots of SSE winds. Sailed around Sometimes Island and back in a U shape.

In this video, Jay adds some finishing touches on the door to get it closer to completion. We also pack our bags and drive east to visit Kenna's family in Alberta, home of the Canadian Prairies (and dinosaurs.)

This week was spent 'catching up', so I take you along for a day in my life off the boat. I spent the day exploring the lake and hanging out with the wildlife.

And the laser sailing continues! But this time in some bigger winds… we even pulled out the trapeze harness!
