We have been wanting to get south ever since the leaves started changing in Annapolis. Beaches and Bikinis every day!

We Have WATER! Being self sufficient being able to make water to drink, shower, cook, clean and wash clothes is HUGE. It is a game changer and now we can.

This week Brett ends up going to the HOSPITAL, but then leaves because he's too good for them - or something like that. Kidding, it just didn't make sense.

A fire on board is a disaster. Having a fire on board where you also catch on fire is a worst nightmare. This is exactly what happened to our friends on SV Naida.

We have made the executive decision to turn the port cabin into our workshop/storage room. And that means modifications and upgrades!

We have decided to go with 1200 watts of semiflexible mono panels. No they are not the BEST and I doubt they will last, but they will get the job done.

We want more diesel for redundancy, safety and peace of mind. And we are keeping our water tank, because can you have too much of a good thing?

We are in the final crunch now to get this boat out on an adventure. Like you, we've been itching to be out of project mode and on with cruising!

We're packing our bags (and our boat) and we're LEAVING! But for good reasons, because we want to see the world!

We bought a broken boat, fixed it up, and now we're setting off on the adventure of a lifetime. First stop, Bimini. TO THE BAHAMAS!!!

Ok but really, we are having a BLAST in the Bahamas, and we're getting our feet, hands, heads, torso's and everywhere else wet learning.

We are sailing south! And are loving every bit of it. This is a mini vlog of our morning in our 2nd Bahamian anchorage!

Sometimes getting groceries is an all day event!

Brett tries fishing again and although we're transiting the "fishbowl of the Bahamas" he manages to catch us ... seaweed!

This week’s adventure included soaking up the heat while motoring from Nassau to the Exumas in the clear, glassy water, playing on the deserted Lobster Cay...

This little washing machine is the real MVP on board. It's called a DaeWoo Mini and we bought it on Ebay! it shipped in like 3 days all the way from Incheon.

We Sail into a storm...for Jade's Mom! Shout out to Rooster going above and beyond with the kit for her too. This video is epic, it has it all!

Living on a Sailboat has a LOT of challenges. Making fresh water from poop water is one of them!

No fuel is no problem....as long as we have wind.

Safety Warning: Sun Exposure, Walking Barefoot, Climbing Coconut Trees, Using Machetes, Going Freediving and Eating Freshly Caught Fish can all pose a risk.

We left our anchorage at Pipe Cay to make our way to Staniel Cay. You know what that means - swimming with pigs!

Trying my Hand at Single Hand Sailing...or so she thinks. Jade really wants to get to know the boat better and have more confidence that she can sail it.

It's time to work on our apnea training as we get hypoxic. Our freezers are getting dangerously empty and we're getting hungry.
