Tiny Van Life Morning Routine...and we hit some snow on our way back across the country!

Welcome to our Winter Van Life Morning Routine when we are on the road! Living, sleeping and driving in such a small space means we have to try and keep things organized…but it gets messy fast!

Good weather makes a big difference , because we have to do most of our cooking cleaning outside, or with the doors open.

We noticed right away that our drive west across Canada would be A LOT colder than when we came east, and we missed seeing the leaves on the trees. But the cool air gave us lots of motivation to get the morning coffee boiling and hit the road early in the day.

We even took the van through a little bit of a snowstorm (really just a snow shower ;)), but the rig did just fine!

Our van is a 1998 Mitsubishi Delica, originally built in Japan. It is the L400 model with a V6 Gasoline engine, 4×4, locking rear differentials for better off-road performance and plenty of room in the back for our conversion! We also have a large metal roof rack and ladder that will allow us to carry more cargo.
