How our Relationship Has Changed After Living on a Boat for 2 Years | Coffee on Blue Moon

How has living on a boat changed our relationship? Has it made us stronger or weaker as a couple? These are some of the questions we chat about in our second-ever podcast style video!

We had a busy week…and didn’t get the chance to do much filming, so we decided to record a chat about this topic! We thought it was fitting, because we touched on the rhythms, habits and routines of our daily lives as a couple who on a little sailboat together!

Transitioning from a house to a tiny living space has made us learn so much about each other, and we have grown so much over the last 2 years of tiny living! We have both found over the years that the novelty and change in lifestyle has made us stronger as a couple, taught us more about one another and made us better communicators, especially when it comes to things like shared work, plans and scheduling.

If you are new to the channel, Blue Moon is a 1978 Catalina 30 sailing vessel which we acquired in 2020. One year later we decided it was time for a road trip and built out a 1998 Delica to drive across the country. Now we live aboard the boat full-time, take weekend trips in the van, and explore this beautiful world.

Thanks for watching!
