First Time Back on the Water | Fixing our Outboard Engine Problems

Spring is upon us…or so we thought! We finally got our dinghy back in the water, but our plans were spoiled by some unexpected winter-type-weather so we had to delay our first trip on the water for a week. We were also having some problems with the outboard but some fuel-saver (Sea Foam) did the trick!

Once the sun finally came back out we got the outboard engine tuned up and took our first trip out on the water of the season (hopefully the first of many more trips to come, both in the big boat and the dinghy)!

If you are new to the channel, Blue Moon is a 1978 Catalina 30 sailing vessel which we acquired in 2020. One year later we decided it was time for a road trip and built out a 1998 Delica to drive across the country. Now we live aboard the boat full-time, take weekend trips in the van, and explore this beautiful world.

Thanks for watching!
