Daily Routines of Living Off Grid on a Sailboat (and struggling with our dinghy… again)

We take a break from sailing this week and start to settle into our daily routine of living off grid on our sailboat. We spent these few days settling into our anchorage and exploring the beautiful island. But, life aboard always presents new challenges and this time it was problems with our dinghy. We rely on our dinghy to get to shore everyday, but when the engine stops and a paddle snaps, you learn to get creative!

If you are new to the channel, Blue Moon is a 1978 Catalina 30 sailing vessel which we acquired in 2020. One year later we decided it was time for a road trip and built out a 1998 Delica to drive across the country. Now we live aboard the boat full-time, take weekend trips in the van, and explore this beautiful world.

Thanks for watching!
